Spelt Flour Waffles


  • 6 eggs
  • 160g sugar
  • 2 pck. vanilla sugar
  • 200ml rapeseed oil
  • 500g Heimatsmühle Type 630 Spelt Flour
  • 500ml milk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • powdered sugar to decorate


  1. Beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and rapeseed oil in a mixer until fluffy.

  2. Add Heimatsmühle flour, baking powder, and milk and mix to form a dough.

  3. Pour the batter into the waffle iron in portions.

  4. Let the golden brown baked waffles cool down briefly on a rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

    Our tip: Also tastes delicious with apple compote or vanilla ice cream.
