Ingredients for 24 cookies

  • 75g butter
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla sugar
  • 150g Heimatsmühle Type 405 Wheat Flour
  • alternatively:
  • 150g Heimatsmühle Type 630 Spelt Flour
  • 100g chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 50g nuts, coarsely chopped


  1. Mix the butter and sugar well, then add the egg and continue beating.

  2. Mix half a teaspoon of salt, baking soda, and flour and stir into the butter mixture as well.

  3. Then work in the roughly chopped chocolate and nuts.

  4. Using 2 teaspoons, place small heaps of the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

  5. Bake the cookies at 175°C for about 7-8 minutes.
